Staff Attorney – Austin, TX
Job Summary:
The Staff Attorney will help develop and lead corporate legal strategy to promote and protect the interests of Little River Healthcare. Assist in the delivery of all legal services in a wide range of areas, including, but not limited to: regulatory compliance; commercial transactions; insurance contracting; risk management; employment; fraud prevention; and litigation.
Education and Experience:
– JD and active membership in good standing with the Texas State Bar
– 2 – 5 years of experience in a large law firm or corporation practicing corporate, mergers and acquisitions, or health care law
– Sufficient previous knowledge of healthcare to include some or all of the following: physician relations, strategic planning, compliance, budgeting, information systems, human resources management, marketing, and community relations
– Oklahoma license (REQUIRED)

 
Radiologic Technologist – Temple and Georgetown, TX
JOB SUMMARY; Works within the objectives and policies established by the Imaging Department, performs Radiology and other related procedures to produce high quality diagnostic images for continued patient care, which will aid physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of their patients.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
· Graduate of an accredited program in radiologic technology and/or licensed by the ARRT (or registry eligible).
· Current and Valid State License.
· Current BLS
 

Certified Medical Assistant – Austin, TX
Job Summary:
Provides exceptional customer service and promotes a professional image and attitude. Responsible for assisting physicians/providers, patient preparation and basic screening procedures, to assure efficient patient flow.
Education and Experience:
High School Graduate
Certification in Medical Assistance with 2 years’ experience
CPR certification
 

Account Resolution Representative – Round Rock, TX
Job Summary:
The Account Resolution Representative performs accounts receivable follow up/collection procedures to obtain timely reimbursement from third party carriers and other payment sources on insurance and self-pay balances. The Account Resolution Representative maintains contact with internal/external resources and communicates billing/reimbursement changes to management in a timely manner, as well as assists in evaluation of accounts receivable and participate in development of collection strategies to decrease outstanding balances. The Account Resolution Representative may assist with other business office functions as necessary and assigned.
Education and Experience:
· Minimum of six months experience in an insurance follow-up or billing capacity is required.
· Requires high school diploma or equivalent
· Formal training or college coursework from a medical coding accredited school, specific to medical billing in lieu of experience may be considered
· Medical terminology experience
· Knowledge of insurance processes and billing guidelines
· Proficient use of computers including Microsoft Office
· Skilled in 10-key by touch and keyboarding
· Ability to operate general office equipment
· Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
 

HIM Coding Specialist – Round Rock, TX
Job Summary:
The Coding Specialist II will have frequent and daily interactions with internal and external clients including but not limited to Physician and Non-Physician Surgical Providers. Responsibilities include primary diagnosis and procedural coding for the designated major surgical specialty areas and other major procedural areas including capture of applicable Physician Quality Reporting System (PQRS) and reconciliation of all surgical cases performed at each hospital where applicable. The Coding Specialist focuses their work on the detailed physician surgical chart abstraction as well as being an immediate liaison to documentation improvement and optimization of physician coding practices for compliance and revenue purposes for the providers in these areas. Surgical abstraction coding is defined as identification of codes based solely on the source documentation for CPT and ICD-10-CM respectively.
Education and Experience:
· Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Health Information Management, Coding Certificate in Health Information Management , Coding Certificate Professional Coder (AAPC)
· Requires minimum of 18 months’ hospital inpatient and /or out -patient coding experience, Utilizing ICD-10 Coding Guidelines, or CPT-4 Coding Conventions, MS-DRG Optimization, and/or RAC/HAC/Core Measures
· Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) or Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) or Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) or Certified Professional Coder (CPC)
This position is located in Round Rock, TX and is an “On-site Position”
 

Patient Service Representative – Austin, TX
JOB SUMMARY: Provide exceptional customer service by greeting, directing, registering and assisting patients to assure efficient patient flow while maintaining HIPAA rules and regulations in areas such as Clinic(s) and Hospital(s) (Emergency Department, Outpatient Services, and Reception Area). Ensure demographic information is complete and accurate. Utilize the appropriate insurance codes, admit services and financial classes when admitting patients. Assist with other clerical duties. Practice HIPAA compliant rules and regulations.
Education and Experience:
· Requires high school diploma or equivalent
· One year of medical office experience required
 

LVN (Float) Full-Time – Temple, TX
Job Summary: Provides exceptional customer service and promotes a professional image and attitude; Responsible for assisting physicians/providers, patient preparation and basic screening procedures, to assure efficient patient flow. Performs initial assessment of patients to include collection and documenting of vital signs, chief complaint, history, allergies, current medication, results of laboratory, x-ray reports, and/or procedures and other information deemed pertinent by the physician to be included in the patient record. Provide assistance to medical providers during examination and treatment of patients, including invasive procedures and giving various injections as ordered. Etc.
Education and Experience:
· Current CPR certification
· Current LVN license in the state of Texas
· Minimum 1 year experience in an LVN position
· This is a Float Pool LVN position
 

Financial Counselor – Rockdale, TX
Job Summary:
Assist patients with billing issues over the phone and in person. Available for counseling to self-pay patients with financial assistance and payment plans. Provide follow up for business office with corrected and/or new filing information received from the patient. Etc.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
– High school or equivalent
– 1 year Healthcare
– 1 year Counseling
 

Senior Accountant – Crockett, Tx
JOB SUMMARY:
Within the framework of the objectives and policies established by the Accounting Manager, the position of senior accountant will be responsible to coordinate and review all accounting functions and financial statements in a timely fashion.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
– Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Accounting.
– Three to four years of experience.
– Knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures on manual and automated systems.
 

Medical Laboratory Technician/Medical Technologist– Rockdale, TX and Crockett, TX
Job Summary: Within the framework of the laboratory, under the direct supervision of a technical or general supervisor. Performs laboratory testing and related documentation functions accurately and in a timely manner to provide information for patient care. Performs routine and specialized testing as well as activities associated with actual testing such as quality control, quality assurance and instrument maintenance. Etc.
Required Education and Experience:
· Must have an Associate’s degree in Medical Laboratory program.
· At least one year of experience in a laboratory setting.
· Registered ASCP or equivalent.
 

Registered Nurse (Emergency Department) – Crockett, TX
Job Summary: Has principle responsibility for the total nursing care, assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of each assigned patient. Plans, provides, and documents discharge planning, teaching, and educates patients, family or other to attain optimal health and continuity of care. Assures that the plan of care is carried out in a safe environment through performance and supervision of all subordinate nursing personnel. Primary responsibility is to the Emergency Department but assists the Med-Surg unit on an as needed basis.
Education and Experience:
· Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing.
· Personal Job-Related Skills: Effective oral and written communication skills.
· Licensure, Registry or Certification: Registered Nurse currently licensed by the State of Texas. BCLS and ACLS .The following must be obtain within 6 months of employment in the ED setting;, PALS or ENPC, and TNCC.
· Prior Work Experience: 2+ years’ experience as a professional Registered Nurse; 2+ years’ experience in emergency department.
· Technical Training: Current CPR certification.
 

Registered Nurse (PRN) – Crockett, TX

Physical Therapist (PRN) – Crockett, TX
Job Summary:
Within the framework of the objectives and policies established by the Executive Director, and the Rules as established by the Texas Board of Physical Therapy Examiners, evaluates and provides physical therapy treatments to patients. Instructs patients and their family members of various physical therapy programs. Assists as supervisor of Physical Therapy Assistants and Physical Therapy Aides in the absence of the director of physical therapy.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy.
Current Physical Therapy License by the state of Texas
Prefer one year of experience as a Physical Therapist.
 

Ultrasound Tech – Temple, TX
Job Summary:
Works within the objectives and policies established by the Imaging Department, performs Ultrasound and other related procedures to produce high quality images for continued patient care, which will aid physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of their patients. The Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for daily operations of the sonographic department, patient schedule, equipment maintenance, the report of equipment failures, and QA. The sonographer maintains a high standard of medical ethics at all times and is self-motivated to increase their level of understanding and knowledge of the field, disease, and new procedures as they evolve. Etc.
Education and Experience:
· An Associate’s Degree in Diagnostic Ultrasound or related training in a program that allows all candidates to be registry eligible; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience in the diagnostic imaging field.
· Must be proficient in general Ultrasound exams / experience in breast imaging preferred but not required.
· According to the needs of the organization, some incumbents in this job class may be required to obtain additional specific technical certifications.
